LITTLE ARMENIA—This year again, Los Angles City Councilmember Eric Garcetti (13th District) has donated holiday gifts to the ARS Social Services office in Hollywood to be distributed among needy clients.
“Councilmember Garcetti has long supported the Armenian community, lending both moral and financial support. ARS Social Services administration and the Regional Executive Board applauds Councilmember Garcetti’s assistance efforts,” said Lena Bozoyan, ARS Regional Executive Chairperson.
There is no great job to be done better Thank you Councilmember Mr.Gacett.
What do you think Mr. Garcetti?
Don’t you think It’s a high time for City council / the city of Los Angeles , to designate , mark and honor the “Little Armenia” neighborhood with a monument?
What about a structure / a monument on the cross section of Hollywood Blvd and Vermont ave? There is a small circular wooded area in between this streets/ intersection that resembles a classic city square that will land itself to a monument welcoming or symbolizing entrance or just “Little Armenia” neighborhood. I think it is past due to have this sort of monument /marking. The site is ideal, has great public visibility and is not ” occupied” by any other designation at this time, and its right at the entrance of the “Little Armenia” .
A cross stone on high pedestal? or another new modern / original structure monument symbolizing Armenian heritage and presence in Los Angeles ???
You can do it Mr. Garcetti, o yes you can…
