Chamlian students learn robotics

GLENDALE—Chamlian Armenian School’s after-school Robotics program is now in full swing, with 20 eager 4th to 6th grade students enrolled. The 10-week program is conducted by Andre Agazaryan, Chamlian’s Computer Lab Instructor, and volunteer parents, Alfred Khashaki, Electrical Engineer at JPL, Frederick Melikian, Software/Systems Test Engineering Manager at Boston Scientific and Ara Juljulian, Software Engineering Manager at Beach Body.

Throughout the program, the instructors will guide the students through the process of building and programming a new robot. They will integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics using the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy Curriculum and Lego Education.
