This is so sad, I feel awful. What a waste. The people we need the most are the ones we are losing. Sometimes life is just not right. God bless them and family.

Did not know until today about this lovely couple and their blog. They sounded happy and focused in everything good. They seemed to have found a paradise and now they are in the Real Paradise.
My prayers are with their families.

Everyone who visits this site on a daily basis does not realize the impact that Allen Yekikian had on it. It’s entire redesign, smart phone application and updates system was the brainchild of one of our community’s brightest and most idealistic minds. Allen Yekikian poured his heart and his soul into Asbarez not for what it it was or what it is but for what it could be. He never stopped striving for success and excellence. He wanted everyone to look at this publication as an honest and open source of news on issues of interest to the Armenian community. Allen Yekikian and Sose Thomassian were two of the most wonderful people a person could have had the pleasure of knowing. Their premature departure from this life leaves a gaping hole in me and many others. I miss them and hope everyone who reads Asbarez appreciates what this young man did. May God illuminate his soul and his wife’s in Heaven.

The only comfort now is that they left this world TOGETHER. What pain their mothers must have felt yesterday on Mother’s Day. So very tragic.

I had the pleasure of working with Sose at UC Irvine and I am deeply saddened by her death. I am consoled only by the fact that she and her husband went together. May their spirits live forever through their family and friends. My deepest felt condolences to the Thomassian and Yekikian families.
