Turkey Pledges to ‘Liberate Karabakh’

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu

QABALA, Azerbaijan—Turkey is ready to do everything possible to “end the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia,” Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Thursday during a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States in Qabala, Anadolu news agency reported.

According to Davutoglu, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is the main obstacle to the stabilization of the South Caucasus region.

“Despite the fact that negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict have been going on for more than 20 years, no results have yet been achieved. This is a very sad fact,” the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 after Armenians in Azerbaijan and their historic homeland of Karabakh were subjected to multiple massacres at the hands of Azeri citizens and armed forces, which spurred a national effort for independence. Armenian armed forces have been defending the independent Nagorno Karabakh Republic since 1992.

Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group – Russia, France and the U.S – are currently holding peace negotiations.

The meeting of the foreign ministers is being held on the eve of the Summit of Heads of Turkic-Speaking States due to take place on Friday in Qabala.

Ramil Hasanov, the Azerbaijani secretary-general of the parliamentary assembly of the Turkic-speaking countries, said the summit was expected to discuss the potential formation of a free-trade zone among the member states, reports RFE/RL.

It is also expected that the council presidency will be transferred from Kyrgyzstan to the Azerbaijani side.

The Council was established in 2009 by the member states of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey with a view to further the goals of Pan-Turanism.

If they are so pan-Turkic, why are they using Latin letters for their meeting? See Latin letters behind him–isn’t Turkic. If they are such a great civilization, why aren’t they using Turkic letters?
Also, Turkey has no access to Karabagh from Turkey, so it is all talk. The Russian bear is in Armenia.

Turkey better liberate their own country. Lets see now…Armenians, Greeks come on top of the list and then there are quite a few others who want a slice of Turkey…..christmas dinner comes to mind. Anything Turkey has done recently i.e. poking its nose in other country’s business ,has backfired and has been nothing but a pathetic failure making dear old Turkey ready for xmas table!

Empty talk, but if they had the chance they would jump on it. Alas, due to Armenia’s strategic ties with Russia and the collective security clause in the CSTO charter, as well as the bilateral military agreement with Russia, Turkey would fight Armenia along with Russia. The cost is WWIII and it is not worth it.

This Mongol mutt Ahmet Gotverenoglu is one sneaky snake that should be crushed like a bug. He is finally showing his real face.

On the surface, a cunningly soft-spoken phony charlatan advocating “zero problems with neighbors”, on his terms only, but deep down a fascist Pan-Turkic and Pan-Turanist anti-Armenian villain.

The Armenians should reply in kind by pleding to make sure he is 6 feet underground long before any such attempt is even remotely made by his nomadic Turkish vagabonds.

It appears that Turkey, Azerbaijan and Russia are itching for a war against Artsakh and Armenia.

The EU and the US will probably go along with a war provided the $35-billion British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas pipelines and infrastructure installations are spared from destruction. I would not be surprised if the EU and US SD are seeking to weaken Armenia’s ability to retaliate with destroying BP’s oil & gas pipelines and installations in Azerbaijan.

One scenario could be that Russia has been given a share of the energy ventures of the Caspian Sea basin to gain cooperation from it and guarantee safety of Europe’s energy needs.

Another scenario could be that Russia’s arming of Azerbaijan with $4-billion worth of weapons to start a war, would be an opportunity for Armenia and Artsakh to destroy the BP’s oil & gas pipelines and installations – which serves Russia’s interests.

We know that Europe depends on more than 40% of its energy needs on the Russian Federation. The US & EU would like to lift Europe’s dependency on Russia by gaining a safe-access route-via-Armenia-Georgia) to the Caspian sea basin.

If Russia is bypassed, it spells disaster to Russia and maybe the start of the dismantling of the Russian Federation. Russia’s hold over Europe gives it power and leverage as well as revenues.

How sad of a fact is it that after almost 100 years Turkey still denies the Armenian Genocide that all educated Turks know happened.
Or how sad of a fact is it that after 39 years of negotiations there are still Turkish troops in a foreign country named Cyprus.
Just as no one pays any attention to what Aliyev says anymore it is turning out that no one pays any attention to what Turkish leaders say “Zero problems with neighbors?” in your dreams!

Davoot Oghloo is a typical brainwashed Turk, who is trying to create Neo- Ottoman dynasty with his master Rajab Erdoghan as new Pasha. Turkey will fall apart in the next decade with Axerbaijan, just like the rest of Arab world, and in the meanwhile he can bark and preach, for his Turkishness as much as he wants.

It seems to me, that he is having pain in the ass in his ancestral steps, that Armenia is serious, and demanding, the return of occupied Western Armenia back to her rightful owner!!

Has this retard shown his ugly face again? Some nerve talking about “stability” while the Turkish terrorist state has turned Syria upside down right after “befriending” them! Filthy lying scumbags, the region will achieve the ultimate stability when these two terrorist countries of “Turkey” and “Azerbaijan” would get destroyed!!

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu should worry more to keep Turkey in 1 piece than to liberate Artsakh (former Nagorno-Karabakh), soon he will have to liberate the devided Turkey from the hands of the Kurds, the Alevis, and others

Yet another obivous reason why Turkey could not and should not be included among the OSCE negotiator or the Minsk co-chairs. Thank you Mr. Davutoglu for making this abundantly clear.

No worries, Azerbaijan’s mongoloid president’s days are numbered. Turkey is internaly fragile and vulnerable. Erdogan’s arrogant foreign policy has failed in Syria, Egypt, Israel, Cyprus etc. etc. Armenia will outlast both of it’s neighbors, like it has for thousands of years.
