Artsakh Lottery winner Gohar Baghdasarian claimes her brand new Toyota Corolla

YEREVAN (Aparaj)—A winner from last winter’s Artsakh lottery on Tuesday claimed one of the larger prizes—a Toyota Corolla.

Gohar Baghdasarian from the Malishka village of Vayots Dzor traveled to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Permanent Representation in Yerevan, where she was handed the keys to her brand new Toyota Corolla, one of many prizes available to the winners of the lottery.

The results of the National Artsakh Lottery were announced during the official drawing on December 28. The lottery was introduced last past summer, with 300,000 tickets in circulation and sold world wide.

The proceeds from the lottery will be used to develop Artsakh Armenian carpet weaving industry, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic infrastructure building and encourage repatriation.
