YEREVAN—The medical society of Armenia is gearing up to host the 4th International Medical Congress of Armenia in Yerevan from July 2 to 4, 2015.
The Congress Program promises an outstanding list of internationally recognized experts and healthcare professionals. Participation of Armenian medical doctors and nurses from all over the world is anticipated.
This Congress will highlight advances in various fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, health education, ethics, complementary, and alternative medicine, as well as other issues of interest and concerns within the allied healthcare fields.
Building on the strong foundation set forth by the International Medical Congresses of Armenia in the past and under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of Armenia and Armenian Medical International Committee (AMIC), the upcoming congress will address some of the most vital issues facing healthcare today. Keynote speakers and panel discussants will focus on a broad range of relevant topics, including the challenges facing healthcare in Armenia and Karabach, latest breakthroughs in cancer and reproductive care, technological advance that are revolutionizing health care and the global paradox of over consumption and under nutrition.
Satellite Symposia will be held on July 1st with the aim to build bridges of international partnership and provide up-to-date information to regional/provincial doctors who will be invited separately to participate without requiring registration.
The third day of the Congress will be entirely dedicated to Diaspora-Armenia projects, and strategies for future collaboration. An outstanding social program will be offered to attendees and their families.
The official languages of the Congress will be Armenian and English.
The deadline for abstract submissions is April 30, 2015.
The Congress’ website, 4IMCA.am, and Facebook page will be launched on May 1st, 2014.
Pleased to hear about the Congress and that they would like to receive abstracts by Apr. 30, however, it would be helpful to advise those interested as to whom and where the abstracts should be submitted, especially since the website will not be operational until after the submission deadline.
