Iran’s President to Visit Armenia

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani

TEHRAN (FNA)—Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani plans to pay an official visit to Armenia to discuss the latest developments on the regional and international scenes, and explore new avenues for the further promotion of Tehran-Yerevan ties, an Iranian diplomat said.

“We are pursuing the issue, but due to the president’s busy schedule the time of the trip cannot be specified exactly. However, the trip will occur,” Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Raeisi said.

Iran and Armenia have taken major strides toward promoting their bilateral relations over the recent years, particularly in the economic sector.

According to Iran’s Commercial Attaché in Yerevan Hamaiak Avadis Yanes, the trade turnover between the two neighboring countries hit $293mln in 2013.

Political games has already been placed in South Caucasus after Mrs. Ashton in landmark bridge-building trip to Iran..Iran will get a choice to run their energy pipe lines through Armenia or Turkey. Mr. Rohani important visit to Armenia will be neutralized Axerbaijani dictator war threats and Putin`s fake peaceful Artsakh settlement plan. If pipe lines goes through Turkey, victors will be Putin and and Turkic tribes of Caucasus, and if pipe lines goes through Armenia and Georgia, the victors will be Iran, Armenia and EU!

Can I ask a question? Without Turkey, how the pipelines can go through Europe? Your choice is the direction of Iran-Armenia-Russia-EU? Actually the reason of new pipelines to Europe is to eliminate Russian gas effect on EU and make diversification for energy suppied EU. A pipeline has 3 choices to reach EU which are by passing through Russia or Turkey or seas. They already here to eliminate Russian factor. Submarine pipelines are too much costed and needed more time to install. There is only one choice left for EU which is by passing Turkey for possible pipeline. Even the gas discovered in South Cyprus may be transported to EU by using Turkey.

Between Mother Russia and Jomhuriye Eslamiye Iran we’re just sitting pretty. Who could ask for any better neighbors?

Those are the only neighbors who are consistent and at least neutral if not on our side since our interests align. You want Armenia to turn her back towards the only friends and forget about the past and her interests then turn to NATO or turkey. Its obvious by now you are advocating for the destruction of Armenia. Do you really think you’re influencing anyone? The only weakness Armenia has in its strategy is internal. This internal greed and mafia governing style is the only think Armenia should change not her foreign policy. In fact Armenia should boost her relations with Iran (gas and oil to Europe ring a bell genius). This would balance her overdependence on Russia. As for Artsakh as you constantly mention… let me repeat it to you since you are totally ignorant. No one can touch Artsakhs unity with Armenia.
