Azeri Authorities Detain Armenian Civilian

Captured Armenian citizen Sargis Ananyan


BAKU—Azerbaijani authorities have confirmed that on Aug. 26 an Armenian citizen crossed the Armenia-Azerbaijan border from the town of Noyemberian near the Azerbaijani village of Kamerli. He was arrested by Azeri authorities and is being held in Azerbaijan.

The Armenian citizen who crossed the border is 53-year-old Sargis Norayri Ananyan, Azerbaijan’s defense ministry said in a statement, adding that the man is currently under the supervision of doctors and is being treated “in compliance with international law.”

    This is not the 1st incident is happening, with clear indications Armenian incompetent & feckless government ignores safety of the people who are living in the boarder line, no time & any little money at least install warning signs & some education learn people protect themselves, but there is enough money higher gangs as there personal security details to attack & even kill innocent people.
    Now this poor person accidentally crossed Azery boarder become captive & send him hospital for medication, as usual he will die their or will ask to exchange him with Azary captured saboteurs & criminals arrested in Artsakh , then if he released he will die few days later, as usual the government
    will offer few cheap chatter for closing the case, & the problem is solved.
