East San Fernando Valley ANCA to Host Community Reception

ANCA San Fernando Valley East

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY-EAST—On the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m., the East San Fernando Valley chapter of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA-SFVE) will host its third bi-annual Community Reception.

A unique opportunity to meet with all levels of local leaders and influencers, the reception will be free of charge to all attendees but is by reservation-only. As space is limited, all those who wish to attend are encouraged to register as soon as possible by visiting ancavalley.org/events.cfm.

The ANCA-SFVE is proud to announce that this year’s Community Reception will be co-hosted by L.A. Banquets at its beautiful Le-Foyer Ballroom in North Hollywood, California.

The reception is dedicated to providing an intimate setting for the area’s public officials, businesspersons, professionals, and community leaders to network and also discuss issues pertaining the local Armenian-American community.

The ANCA-SFVE has worked diligently to raise the community’s civic engagement, voter registration, and political awareness among Armenian-Americans of the eastern San Fernando Valley, encouraging youth to participate in community affairs, and helping instill an increased sense of pride in community.

Such efforts have been especially fruitful in recent years. Home to tens of thousands of Armenian-American residents, several elected public officials of Armenian descent, thousands of Armenian-American professionals, and hundreds of Armenian-American owned businesses, the eastern San Fernando Valley neighborhoods of North Hollywood, Studio City, Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks and neighboring areas are fast becoming the hub of the greater Los Angeles City Armenian-American community.

Any business desiring to be recognized as a sponsor at the Community Reception or any individual with questions about the event may email the ANCA-SFVE at info@ancavalley.org.

It is the ANCA-SFVE’s goal to continue providing a platform to facilitate cooperation and activism within the Armenian-American community and increase engagement in the political and civic fabric of the East San Fernando Valley.
