BERLIN—Armenia ranked 94th among 174 countries in the 2014 Corruption Perceptions Index published by Transparency International.
With 37 points from a possible 100, Armenia shares the 94th place with Panama, Egypt, Columbia, Gabon, and Liberia.
Armenia’s neighbors ranked as follows: Georgia in 50th, Turkey at 64th, Azerbaijan at 126th, and Russia sharing the 136th place with Iran, Nigeria, Lebanon, Cameroon and Kyrgyzstan.
Denmark is at the top of the ranking, followed by New Zealand and Finland.
The Corruption Perceptions Index ranks countries and territories based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. A country or territory’s score indicates the perceived level of public sector corruption on a scale of 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).
A country or territory’s rank indicates its position relative to the other countries and territories in the index. This year’s index includes 175 countries and territories.
Why is this important? Because this is what Western imperialists want us to think is important?
The biggest corruption in the world takes place in Western countries.
As long as Armenians consider themselves as behind WASPs they will remain 2nd class peoples.
Most of the EU countries are corrupt
This is a shame to all of us, where our beloved Armenia ranked in 94-th place, where most Armenian authorities have lost their interest. We are not even comparable with entire European countries, but all corrupted Middle Eastern Islamic countries and Russia, where some of them are way ahead of Armenia in ranking.
