GLENDALE—On Friday, Dec. 5, Chamlian Armenian School held its first annual Candy Cane Tree Lighting Event, organized by the school’s Parent Support Committee.
Over 650 students, parents and extended family members walked into a campus adorned with beautiful Christmas decorations and white snow. The evening was filled with merriment, choir performances, arts and crafts activities in the auditorium, food, desserts, complimentary hot chocolate for all, vendors, entertainment, a warm tree lighting collaboration, and even a special visit from Santa. True Chamlian and Christmas spirit was evident.
“Chamlian’s Administration extends a special thank you to the event sponsors, dedicated Parent Support Committee members and all the parents who volunteered their time and talent,” the school’s administration said in a statement to the press. “Their collaborative efforts helped make this a truly successful and exciting event for all.”
