French-Armenian Charlie Hebdo Humorist Didn’t Go to Work…

French-Armenian humorist Mathieu Madénian

PARIS—French-Armenian humorist and a journalist working at Charlie Hebdo called in to the offices to say he would not be going to work, hours before three gunmen stormed the editorial offices of the satire magazine Wednesday, killing 12 employees, including the magazine’s editor, reported Huffington Post France.

As the manhunt continues throughout France for the two remaining suspects who are still at-large, Mathieu Madénian, who had been working at Charlie Hebdo since September, went on France’s Canal+ on Wednesday to explain that he had called and left a message at the Hebdo offices at 9 a.m. saying he would not be going to work that day.

“This morning at 9 I called Hebdo to say I’m not coming in,” said Madénian. He had joked that he would bring an epiphany cake, a pastry known as galette des rois, popular during the holidays. This prompted the interviewer to declare: “You were saved by the epiphany cake—you were saved by the Maggi.”

“It is incredible,” said Madénian. “I received several messages from my mother who was in tears and was asking where I was that morning. I was only thinking about the people who died.”

Thanks God that Madenian was not during this butchery and God Bless the souls of all those innocent people who were killed . The Neo-Ottoman regime of ” sultan erdogan ” is backing these islamic terrorists in Iraq and Syria and unfortunalety the west is still supporting turkey in its fight against Syria.

As an armenian he should know better than waste his time caricaturing Mohamed. Mohamedans are too serious an issue for Armenians to indulge in specious and banal mockery.Black humour is the most vile and banal form of expression ending in gratuitous offense and insult. It has got nothing to do with freedom of speech.

Iy is foolishness to blaspheme and spit on people’s souls, no matter how disliked they might be.

      Yes Kars,
Prophet Muhammed was so serious in 1915, when Jihadist Turks slaughtered Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians. This is one of the reason Turkey claim Armenian massacres was not a Genocide it is was justifiable and honourable killing of infidels! I wonder if Armenians ever produced a cartoon picture of Prophet Muhammed, back then in Turkey!

I think you need to relearn history. The Young Turks were mostly athiests and mostly Jews. Those who gave Armenians shelter – Syrians and Persians – were Muslims.

You must be Rajab Erdoghan follower (Islam never committed massacres) Syria was not fully independent country yet. Iranians had their own internal constitutional war of 1918!

I don’t know about your histogram, but I onw Islam destroyed Persian Zoroastrian Empire and Eastern Christian Roman Empire!
