GAVAR, Armenia (Armenpress)—During a meeting held in Martuni , in the Province of Gegharkunik, on Wednesday, Armenia’s Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanian accepted the 2014 annual report of the Second Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

The minister touched upon the Second Army Corps’ achievements in 2014, as well as the successes of the Armenian Army, raising the level of efficiency and continuing with reforms. “Through the efforts of the second army corpus, in 2014, we were able to not only keep our country’s borders impenetrable, but were also able to identify and neutralize the enemy’s diversionary groups,” Ohanian said.

“Last year, we managed to make the enemy suffer six losses and reduced the number of killings or suicides caused by inter-personal relations, as well as other defective phenomena. In 2015, we’ll be guided by the motto, “Qualitative Progress in Reforms,” with effective and realistic programs to achieve greater heights,” Ohanian said.

Wednesday’s meeting began with an award ceremony. Commander of the Second Army Corps of the Armenian Armed Forces, Major General Poghos Poghosyan awarded weapons, an honorary flag, and prizes to outstanding officers and military servicemen.

Ohanian granted commemorative medals to the soldiers of the Second Army Corps, representatives of state administrative and local government bodies, as well as members of non-governmental organizations and mass media representatives.

In his report, Poghos Poghosyan mentioned that the subdivisions of the Second Army Corps had met all the objectives set in 2014 and assured that the Corps would continue to reinforce its positions on the borders and would take measures aimed at raising the level of efficiency of the Army’s subdivisions this year.

The only thing to sum up is the fact that we have a military treaty with a nation that continues to arm our enemy. Now go and sum that up and when you reach a convincing conclusion, please post it so we may all be enlightened by the mystifying situation.
