Burbank ANCA Announces Upcoming 2015 Banquet

Burbank ANCA

BURBANK, Calif.—The Armenian National Committee of America, Burbank (Burbank ANCA) is excited to announce its 8th annual banquet, to be held at Arbat Banquet Hall on May 8th at 7 p.m. This year’s banquet will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the ANCA in Burbank.

The banquet allows the Burbank ANCA to recognize a few of the exceptional people and organizations that allow Armenian-Americans to survive and thrive in Burbank. “I am honored to work with the planning committee to organize an evening that showcases the hard work of our community members and allows the Burbank ANCA to thank our generous supporters,” said Liliane Arejian, co-chair of the banquet committee.

Last year, the sold-out banquet honored individuals and an organization who have had a large impact on the community, including Police Chief Scott LaChasse, community activist Berdj Karapetian, teacher Ani Berberian, and the Southern California Armenian Democrats. “Without the dedication of these honorees, and the countless supporters we’ve had over the years, the Burbank ANCA would not have been able to carry out its aims successfully for the past quarter-century,” Arejian continued. The names of this year’s honorees will be announced in the coming weeks.

The 25th anniversary Burbank ANCA banquet committee members include co-chairs Liliane Arejian and Nune Anmahouni, Armik Avedisian, Maggie Babikian, Nazeli Khodabakhsh, Vana Boyajian, Stepan Boyajian, Joseph Hovanessian, Nadine Kalindjian, and Ara Kurkjian. If you have questions or comments, please contact Liliane Arejian (818) 469-7671 or email info@ancaburbank.org

The Armenian National Committee of America, Burbank advances the social, economic, cultural, and political rights of the area’s Armenian American community and promotes increased Armenian American civic participation at the grassroots and public policy levels.
