LOS ANGELES—Rose and Alex Pilibos School Principal Dr. Alina Dorian has been named “Educator of the Month” by the Los Angeles Lakers Organization, the school announced on its Facebook page.

Dr. Dorian was selected for this recognition for her contributions and outstanding achievements in academics, athletics and in the community. Among thousands of elementary, middle, and high schools in the Greater Los Angeles area, a total of 5 counties, she was chosen as an exemplary leader and educator.

“We are so very proud of Dr. Dorian for not only this achievement but for everything she does every single day for the students, faculty, and parents of Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School,” school officials posted on Facebook.

Dr. Dorian will be honored during the half-time show on April 3 when the Lakers face off against the Portland Trailblazers in a home game at the Staples Center.
