YEREVAN (ARKA)—Digital Pomegranate, a start-up company operating out of the Gyumri Technology Center (GTC) is inviting travelers and industry professionals to Gyumri on July 17 to unveil its newest product, Gyumri Walking Tour.

The mobile application will assist visitors to Gyumri move about the city, helping them find centers of leisure, culture, and service. Digital Pomegranate plans to unveil the new application tomorrow in Gyumri with a three-hour train journey and IT conference.

Participants in tomorrow’s presentation will also go on a walking tour of Gyumri and discuss tourism and technology at the GTC.

The success of Gyumri Walking Tour will enable Digital Pomegranate to develop similar solutions for small towns, communities, as well as museums, galleries and other organizations working to develop community tourism with the use of innovative technological solutions both in Armenia and abroad.

The GTC was inaugurated in September 2014 by the joint efforts of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, the Armenian government and the World Bank.
