Tufenkian Arts Presents Sam Grigorian’s West Coast Premier Exhibition

Caroline Tufenkian Fine Arts is proud to present “Sam Girgorian – West Coast Premier Exhibition.” Artist reception on November 8, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 at 4220 San Fernando Rd, Glendale, CA 91204.  Renowned Berlin based artist, Sam Grigorian’s large and small scale minimalist décollage works will be presented at the show, which will be on view thru December 10.  His works have been exhibited extensively in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, Sweden and Armenia in galleries, biennales, and museums. At first glance his compositions seem spontaneous, impulsive and abstract yet they are calculated and deliberate. Often referred to as “formalist with a tasteful air of control” Sam carefully manipulates geometric shapes to create abstract compositions. Over the years he has developed a unique technique to treat paper in his décollages. The papers used in his work exhibit character, history and richness of texture.

Tufenkian Fine Arts is dedicated to serving as a resource for buyers, collectors, and those moved by the artistic expression of modern and contemporary identity and experience. Established by Caroline Tufenkian,  Tufenkian Fine Arts presents works of well-known and rising international and local artists and connects audiences to events and exhibits featuring excellence in contemporary fine art.  Visit them at their new space in Glendale.
