YEREVAN (ARMENPRESS)—The head of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, announced during  an episode of “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” on Russia 1TV that Armenians must be allowed to liberate their western territories.

Zhirinovsky said that, “Armenians could do that in 1918 if Moscow supported them, but it [Moscow] was on the Turkish side.”

“If we allow Armenians to liberate their western territories, they will be glad to do that,” he said.

Zhirinovsky also talked about supporting the Kurds.

“Kurds expect our support. If we tell the Kurds that we recognize their independence, their population reaches, as we know, to 20 million, and the capital is already known, it is Diyarbakır. Hence, Eastern Anatolia will cease to exist in the form we know. As a result, there will be independent Kurdistan and Great Armenia,” he said.

Oh good, using us a tool to start a war on our behalf. Let’s liberate our own territories from criminal oligarchs before looking elsewhere. Thanks.

Turkey is too Islamic, too aggressive, too conniving, too dangerous, and too big. On top of all, it is too genocidal; do we wait for it to get the nuke? Turkey acts as if it’s ready to kill every Kurd in Turkey if if need be, and will not compromise. Every time they ring the Allarm, we arm them with whaterer they ask for, and then they use the equipment on themselves. The US taxpayers has been arming Turkey and turning a blind eye to its civil rights and apartheid behavior. All chickens will come home to roost on that one. The only solution is to separate Turkey into Independent Ethnic based Democratic republics. Kurdistan, Pontian Republic, Cilician republic or Kingdom, Wilsonian Armenia, Asyrian Republic, etc. Of course there will be a place for the ethnic Turks. Same with Iraq.

From his mouth to God’s ears. We want Sarikamish part II. We want to link up with Alawites, Kurds and if possible Greeks. As long as Turks live among us, there will be no peace, not for Armenians, not for Russians, not for Greeks, not for Iranians, not for Kurds, not for Alawites…

I previously envisioned a new middle east with the elimination of Assad (sorry Vlad) and a slapped down Turkey as well. I hate to agree with this Russian loon but he is useful here – and waiting for the west to create Kurdistan will take forever. Some Russian aggression and NATO and the EU and the USA could save face and ‘defend’ Turkey and agree to a partition that creates Kurdistan and Greater Armenia.
As for the big picture we just have to be careful that Russia does not end up controlling the new Syria and Turkey.

Russians made a big mistake in 1918 damaging Armenia. Now, they are able to correct the past mistake and give back to Armenia the land that belong to Armenians but was previously given away by Russians to Azerbaijan.

As long as Armenia is sandwiched between two anti-Armenian barbarian nations who want nothing more than to expand their own power and influence by controlling geopolitical spheres to control trade and oil routes, there will never be peace for Armenia. Armenia was always a tool in the hands of the Russians, to be used for Russia’s interest whenever it was convinient to Russia’s agenda. So, simply expanding Armenian borders to west will not make Western power to disappear. Both western and eastern neighbors will still be with close borders to suffocate Armenian economy.
I see the following options for Armenia.

    a. Armenian people can leave Armenian terrotories, for which they shed their blood for centuries in order to defend it.
    b. Become part of either Georgia or Iran, depending on if they want to live under European customs or Middle Eastern
and want to trade with middle east and asia or US and EU. In this case Artsakh will have to be given back to the enemy.
I dont see this happening, ever.
    c. Improve the internal government in order to attract the diaspora to return back to their homeland and keep fighting.
    d. Become feminists and homosexuals in order to get protection from the US and EU. lol
    e. Help Kurds to form their country in southeastern Turkey and gain an ally.
    f. Help Kurds and few other nations to be build on both East and West sides of Armenia and get 2 or more allies.

    If I had a say, I would pick c & f.

Armenia has 10M in diaspora half of which would return to their homeland had Armenian justice system was operating
justly, and stand up for Armenia’s sovereignty and liberation of its historical lands.
Armenia needs nearby accessable markets to export their products which currently does not exist. (bigger picture)
Armenia needs access to sea in order to engage in international trade without restrictions. (biggest picture)
Armenia should also have other allies (energy and military) besides Russia, in order to be able negotiate better
    outcomes during negotiations with Russia.
