YEREVAN (Armenpress) — The Development Foundation of Armenia jointly with 6 travel agencies will introduce Armenia in an international tourism trade fair in Madrid called “Fitur 2016”, which will take place from January 20-24. Over 9,500 travel companies and about 125,000 specialists engaged in the sector from 65 countries will participate in the fair this year. The number of the visitors of the tourism trade fair is expected to surpass 220,000.

The companies will introduce the rich culture and Christian heritage, as well as tourist attractions of Armenia and Artsakh with the support of the Development Foundation of Armenia. The latter is aimed at increasing tourist flows into two Armenian republics.

The Executive Director of the Development Foundation of Armenia Arman Khachatryan said that meetings and business format round table discussions are expected in the framework of the trade fair. He also informed that the representatives of the Armenian companies will discuss options for cooperation with their foreign colleagues, putting emphasis on increasing the flow of European, mainly Spanish tourists.

Arrangements should be made to have undercover nationalist Armenian men on standby nearby the Arstakh boothe so that our Armenian sisters aren’t bullied like they were last time at their kiosk by Azerbaboons. Small knuckle dusters and blackjack baton wielding young hye men should be on standby near the booths in case some sort of unrest or aggressive protesting is attempted by azeribaboons. Relying on the venue’s security is idiotic, let’s wake up people.
