ANKARA (AFP) — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday accused the United States of creating a “pool of blood” in the region by failing to recognize the main Syrian Kurdish organizations as terror groups.

“Hey America… As you have never recognised them (as terror groups) the region has turned into a pool of blood,” Erdogan said in a lacerating attack on US policy, referring to the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) and its People’s Protection Units (YPG) militia.

His remarks escalated a growing row between Washington and key NATO member Turkey over the role of Kurdish fighters in the struggle against jihadists in Syria.

Turkey on Tuesday summoned the US envoy to Ankara in protest after the US State Department spokesman said that Washington did not recognize the PYD as a terror group and would continue to support its operations in Syria.

“Hey America! How many times have we had to tell you?” Erdogan said in his fiery address. “Are you together with us or are you with the PYD and YPG terror groups?”

Erdogan launched the attack in one of his regular speeches at the presidential palace to loyal local municipal leaders known as muhtars that have become known as the forum for his most vehemently anti-Western comments.

Turkey says that the Syrian Kurdish groups are simply a branch of the rebel Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which is recognized as a terror group by the United States, and has carried out a string of deadly attacks in Turkey in the last months.

“Is there a difference between the PKK and the PYD? Is there a difference with the YPG?” asked Erdogan.

“We have written proof! We tell the Americans ‘it’s a terror group’. But the Americans stand up and say ‘no we don’t see them as terror groups’.”

This idiot thinks he can dictate his opinions to the Untied States of America and NATO members, as he pleases.
It is time to put him in his place and tell him to shut up!
The Turkish government has its own Islamic foundation, moreover, savagery runs in their blood. So EFENDI why call the Kurd rebels “Terrorists? when you are a stellar example of terrorism!

Funniest thing is that they consider themselves European. Really… Ask Europeans if they agree with the descendants of the Ottoman butchers. Due to their geographical position, they are only needed as NATO requires>.

Let us not forget that this same government gave us the boot for passing through, during the Iraq war.and now they have the audacity to call us “Hey America”

Erdogan is a coward. He is only good at attacking the unarmed Kurdish and Armenian populations within Turkey, just as his genocidal ancestors. At it’s core, Turkey today and especially Erdogan are the same as ISIS, the same islamo-fascists. Did anyone notice that his mustache is very much like Hitler’s? No wonder he likes Hitler so much. Turkey does not deserve to be in NATO. It’s time for everyone to realize and understand that Turkey is a menace and an illegitimate state; this region would be so much more peaceful without the Turks.

It’s time for PKK to be taken out of the terrorist classification. The real terrorists in the area are Erdogan and his islamist fanatic society.

A good time to kick Turkey out of NATO. Let’s face it, they are a disgrace to the solid organization.

Mr. Erdogan knows well that PYD and YPG are liberator groups, and that 40 million Kurds need to have their own independent country

The time is running out for Erdoghan and his administration. I personally believe that Barak Obama has realized who is the real Erdoghan. He is not the role model of him anymore. He is the main problem in the region along Saudi’s rulers. NATO members should understand that the main problem is this idiot not bashar Al Asad.
