“After an extensive search and a rigorous interview process to find the best qualified candidate for the principalship of the Ferrahian Encino campus, we are happy to inform the community about the appointment of Mrs. Sossi Shanlian as the Principal of Holy Martyrs Ferrahian Armenian School Encino campus. Mrs. Shanlian’s educational experience and management skills fulfill the needs of the school. The Armenian schools in Southern California are a familiar environment for Mrs. Shanlian and we have great confidence in her administrative and educational capabilities. We strongly believe that with the cooperation and collaboration of the faculty, the School Board, the parents, and by working closely with Mr. John Kossakian, who will now be the Principal of the North Hills campus, Holy Martyrs Marie Cabayan Elementary School, Mrs. Shanlian will succeed in advancing the educational growth of our students at Holy Martyrs Ferrahian Armenian School Encino campus” said the Board of Regents chairwoman Lisa Gaboudian.

The Board of Regents congratulates Sossi Shanlian and the Holy Martyrs Ferrahian Armenian School community and wish them continued success in their mission.
