Trailer for Film Based on William Saroyan’s ‘The Human Comedy’ Released

Tom Hanks plays the role of the father in Ithaca, a film based on William Saroyan's novel The Human Comedy.

(ArmRadio)—The trailer for Ithaca, a film based on William Saroyan’s 1943 novel The Human Comedy, has been released.

The film tells the story of a 14-year-old telegraph messenger, played by Alex Neustaedter, in upstate New York whose older brother, played by Jack Quaid, is overseas fighting in World War II. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks play the role of their parents.

Ithaca will be featured in theaters on September 9, 2016.
