STEPANAKERT—Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) President Bako Sahakyan received on Friday Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, stated the Artsakh President’s press service.
Their meeting discussed issues related to economic cooperation between the two Armenian states.
According to the press release, Sahakyan congratulated Karapetyan on being appointed head of Armenia’s National Assembly and wished him successes and expressed hope that during his premiership, high-level economic ties between Armenia and Artsakh would continue development and expansion.
The President awarded Karapetyan the Mesrop Mashtots order for support toward Artsakh in realizing significant socioeconomic projects and for the 25th Anniversary of the Independence proclamation.
Artsakh Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan and other officials took part in the meeting.
