Chamlian Armenian School Holds Mock Presidential Election

LA CRESCENTA, Calif.—Students at Chamlian Armenian School on Tuesday participated in a Mock Presidential Election. The purpose of the mock election is to emphasize students’ civic duty as citizens and show them a powerful way to voice their opinion in their community. Last week, teachers educated the students on the election process.

On November 8, students in grades 1-8 voted on paper ballots in poll booths and the winner of the school election was announced in the afternoon. Chamlian Armenian School would like to extend their gratitude to Tamar Estanboulian and Nathalie Karimian for taking the lead in the event. Furthermore, they would like to thank the 8th Grade Student Election Committee who worked on preparing the voting booths and ballots cards, assisted their fellow students during the voting process, and helped count the votes.

The Chamlian Presidential Winner was Donald Trump.
