YEREVAN—Armenian Soldier Narek Asatryan, 20, who was wounded during the April war in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), succumbed to his wounds Tuesday afternoon.

Aram Asatouryan, Chairperson of the Muratsan Military Hospital in Yerevan, said that Asatryan was severely injured around the head during a mine explosion. “We did all we could for six months to help him recover. However, nothing worked.”

According to various sources, Asatryan never regained consciousness after his injury.
