The Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Arpine Hovhannisyan spoke to Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) who serves on the House Armed Services Committee about concerns surrounding the U.S.-made Bell 412 helicopters being showcase at a military parade in Baku.

Rep. Gabbard, a member of the Congressional Armenian Caucus, assured Hovhannisyan that she would address the issue and provide her additional information later.

Hovhannisyan had earlier send a letter to both Co-Chair of the Congressional Armenian Caucus Jackie Speier and Gabbard to express concern in connection with the reports about Azerbaijan’s showcasing of the U.S.-made helicopters.

“This information raises lots of questions and concerns that I wanted to share with you. One of my concerns is the origin of the aforementioned helicopters and how they were possessed by Azerbaijan,” Hovhannisyan wrote.

In addition, Hovhannisyan requested statutory restrictions and government policies regarding the direct or indirect third-party sale or transfer of military and dual-use U.S. equipment/technology to Azerbaijan.

The Armenian National Committee of America on Friday called on the bipartisan leadership of key Senate and House oversight committees to investigate potential violations of U.S. arms export laws in connection with published reports that Azerbaijan will showcase U.S.-made Bell 412 helicopters at its June 26 military parade.

If this proves to be so, the question is, what (or who) is the agent by which this unlawful transfer (of Bell 412’s) too place?
How about a Congressional hearing on this and the “White Helmet” scammers, as well?
