Gas Supply to Armenia Resumes

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)Gas supplies to Armenia have resumed since the Feb. 27 closure of the gas pipes.

The gas supplies to Georgia and Armenia were cut off because of Georgia’s debts. The Armenian Energy Ministry reports that as of March 3–4.3 million cubic meters of gas enters Armenia daily.

Georgia’s Power System is in turmoil because of damaged electricity transmission lines from Russia. Georgia is now running on reserve power supplies.
