Church in Turkey Robbed

YEREVAN (Armenpress)The St. Hripsimeh Armenian church in Istanbul–Turkey was vandalized and robbed early Sunday morning.

The burglars broke windows and the chapel door and proceeded to steal the charity box. The district council of the church alerted the police–which investigated the matter and informed the Patriarchate.

This is the second Armenian church in Turkey to be vandalized and robbed in recent months.
