Armenian Foreign Minister Ends Visit to Egypt.

CAIRO–March 21 (Itar-Tass) – Armenian Foreign Minister Alexander Arzumanyan ended an official visit to Armenia. During the three-day visit to Cairo the Armenian minister met President Hosni Mubarak and gave him a message from Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

The Armenian minister held talks with Parliament Chairman Ahmed Fathi Sorour–Foreign Minister Amr Musa and other Egyptian officials. The two sides signed an agreement on cooperation between the two countries in the area of culture–education and science.

The Armenian foreign minister took part in a ceremony devoted to the fifth anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Egypt. He also visited the headquarters of the League of Arab Nations and met its Secretary General Ismat Abdel Magid.
