Prime Minister Won’t Take Part in CIS Meeting

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Levon Ter-Petrosyan left for Moscow Thursday to participate in the Commonwealth of Independent States Summit which is scheduled to be held Friday. Armenia’s delegation will also take part in the meeting of CIS prime ministers. Armenia’s Prime Minister Robert Kocharian–however–will not take part in the meeting. It is not yet clear who will head the Armenian delegation. A meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers will also take place on the same day–which will be attended by a delegation from Armenia headed by Foreign Minister Alexander Arzoumanian. The foreign ministry reports that Azerbaijan will make a proposal to include the issue of illegal weapons supply by Russia to Armenia in the agenda.
