Hratch Dasnabedian Arrives in Los Angeles

Principal of the Nshan Palandjian Jemaran in Beirut–Hratch Dasnabedian Wednesday afternoon arrived in Los Angeles where he was greeted by representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Western US Central Committee and other leaders at the Los Angeles International Airport.
Dasnabedian is in Los Angeles for a series of upcoming programs which honor his years of work in academia and as a writer and intellectual leader of the Armenian community.
Sponsored by the ARF Western US Central Committee–the events are scheduled for Sunday–April 6 and Friday–April 11.
The first event will feature a program honoring the long-time leader and academic and will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday at the United Community Church in Glendale–333 E. Colorado Blvd.
The second event–a banquet honoring Dasnabedian–will take place on Friday–April 11 at 8 p.m. at Ferrahian high school’s Avedissian Hall.
Similar events are scheduled to take place in San Francisco on April 12 and 13.
