Alleged Arms Deal Still Being Investigated

YEREVAN (Azg daily/Noyan Tapan)–Military Prosecutor’s Office of Russia’started investigation of materials related to the alleged illegal supply of weaponry to Armenia.

It is reported that meetings with former defense minister Pavel Grachev–former commander of the chief headquarters Mikhail Kolesnikov and former commander of land forces Vladimir Semionov.

Commenting on the declaration of the head of the presidential control committee Vladimir Putin–according to which Grachev never ordered to supply the weaponry– representatives of the military prosecutor’s office said it is too early to speak on the matter–while the investigation is still underway.
