MOSCOW (Azg daily/RL)–General Alexander Lebed–in an interview with Radio Liberty–said he would evaluate the Karabakh conflict during a visit to Armenia this week.
Asked whether there are grounds for the Karabakh population’s fears of another genocide–Lebed said–"Well–they have every reason to worry–specially witnessing the massacres of more than 2 million Armenia’s in their historic territories in 1915. Some people who witnessed the events are still alive. This penetrated the genetic memory of the Armenian people."
