GLENDALE–The Glendale New-Press’ annual ranking of Glendale’s 103 most influential people was released last with several prominent Armenian community leaders making the list.
The Armenian National Committee was well represented with ANCA-WR Board Member Arsen Danielian ranked number 17 and ANC-Glendale Chairman Rafi Manoukian number 82. This ranking marks the second time Manoukian was included in the prestigious club while for Danielian–who also serves on the Armenian Prelacy’s Central Executive Council–it is the first time.
Other notable Armenia’s making the list include Mayor Larry Zarian at number 5; Glendale Unified School District Director of Special Projects–Alice Petrossian at number 7; Archbishop Yeprem Tabakian of St. Mary’s Church at number 25; Glendale Police Department Spokesman Chahe Keuroghlian at number 41; Sona Zinzalian–Executive Director of Armenian Relief Society’s Department of Social Services at number 44; Armond Gorgorian–Executive Director of Homenetmen Ararat Chapter at number 48; Glendale-based architect Marco Brambilla at 50; and Glendale businessman Vatchik Stepanian at 80.
