Western Union Begins Service to Armenia

PARAMUS–NJ–Western Union Financial Services International announced that residents and visitors in Armenia can now receive money in minutes at Armenian Shareholding Import-Export Bank (Armimpexbank).

In Armenia–Western Union Money Transfer service is available in the city of Yerevan.

Users can phone a central number in Yerevan–374-2-589-367–from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday–and from 10a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday–for information about locations and service hours. English and Russian are spoken at that number. In the United States–users can phone toll free (800) 325-6000–in Canada phone toll free (800) 235-0000–and in the United Kingdom phone freefone 0 (800) 833-833. Western Union Money Transfers to Armenia are paid out in dollars.
