Armenia Ukraine to Sign Joint Declaration

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A joint declaration between Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma is expected to be signed during the former’s visit to Ukraine scheduled for July 22-23.

Intergovernmental agreemen’s on cooperation in the scientific and technical field and productive cooperation–on cooperation between the Archives Department of Armenia and the Head Archives Department of the Ukrainian government–on cooperation in prevention of illegal currency transfer–economic and financial breaches–on cooperation between Yerevan State University and the Shevchenko National University of Kiev–as well as a protocol on international transport communications are also scheduled to be signed.

Armenia-Ukraine agreemen’s eliminating cases of double citizenship and liquidating the currently existing ones are also planned to be signed during the visit–Armenia’s Foreign Ministry said.
