YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Levon Ter-Petrosyan arrived in Kishinev Wednesday to attend a CIS summit to be held there Oct. 23-24.
The summit will address the course of economic reforms in the CIS–the mechanism of realization of the conception of CIS economic integration development and the course of elaboration for proposals to improve the activities of CIS bodies.
The forum will also consider issues pertaining to the convention banning landmines–transitional corporations–the agreemen’s on a single agrarian market–the cooperation committee in conflict situation and the cooperation of CIS-member countries in dealing with illegal migration.
The summit will hear a report on the course of accomplishment of the interstate program on mutual measures in combating organized crime and other types of dangerous crimes in CIS for the period until 2000.
