United Nations Scientist Suggests Building City at Mt. Ararat

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Samvel Mirzoyan,. an academician of the United Nations International Information Academy suggested during a recent meeting to build a new international city named after Noah at the foothills of Mr. Ararat in Western Armenia.

The city-country would be built through the combined efforts of different countries and will be an event worthy of a new millenium–said Mirzoyan.

Representatives of various nations would then inhabit the city. A Museum named after Noah would also be built at the site.

According to Mirzoyan–if Turkey is going to march in step with civilized nations–it should agree to this idea at least on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the Ottoman Empire.
