Karabakh National Assembly Holds Session on Peace Process

STEPANAKERT (Noyan Tapan)–The present stage of negotiations on the Karabakh conflict settlement–as well as official standpoint of the Karabakh and Armenian authorities on this issue were addressed at a special session of the Presidium of the Karabakh National Assembly held on Wednesday.

Members of the Presidium expressed their viewpoints regarding the latest proposals of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Minsk group and spoke for convocation of a special parliament session to discuss this problem. A number of parliamentarians invited to attend the session–voiced their standpoint regarding the latest statemen’s by Levon Ter-Petrosyan and demanded that the National Assembly come up with a relevant statement.

The Presidium decided to consider the issue at parliamentary committees.
