YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenian Foreign Minister Alexander Arzoumanian met his Polish counterpart Bronislav Geremek–Tuesday.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry reported that the two discussed issues regarding the development of bilateral relations–European security–as well as consular relations. Acknowledging Poland’s position as OSCE acting chairperson in 1998–the sides also addressed the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict–as well as bilateral cooperation by means of the OSCE.
Among documen’s signed was a protocol of cooperation between the two foreign ministries–intergovernmental agreemen’s on cooperation in the fields of culture–science and civil aviation. A joint press conference followed the ministerial meeting.
