Political Council Discusses Upcoming Elections

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Political Council held a regular session Monday and discussed issues regarding the forthcoming presidential elections in Armenia–said Alexander Aghamalian–acting chairman of the Scientific-Industrial and Civil Union of Armenia.

According to him–special attention was paid to the conditions of holding free and fair elections and maintaining relevant moral atmosphere in the society.

The Political Council that formed on the eve of presidential elections consists of representatives from the ARF–Yerkrapah–Democratic Party of Armenia–Ramkavar Party of Armenia–Socialist Union–Scientific-Industrial and Civil Union and the Communist Party of Armenia.
