ARS to Mark Karabakh Anniversary

The Western Regional Executive of the Armenian Relief Society announced that it has organized a cultural program dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the liberation struggle in Karabakh–which will be an important part of a slew of activities organized for the month-long celebration.

The cultural program will feature students from the area ARS Saturday schools–and is scheduled to take place on Sunday–February 15–1998 at 2 p.m. at Baghramian Hall in Montebello.

Saturday School students will present a special cultural program–including an art exhibit–poetry recitations and choir performances all bearing the Karabakh 10th anniversary theme.

"With this program–the ARS–with its chapters and Saturday Schools–will come together and express its unwavering solidarity with the ideal of strengthening the liberation of Karabakh," stated the ARS in its announcement.
