Horizon Television Expands

GLENDALE–Beginning Sunday–February 15–Horizon television will expand its broadcasts to reach a wide-range audience by adding Century Cable to its list of cable operators carrying the program.

Horizon will be broadcast on Century Cable’s channel 76 on Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Century Cable covers the communities of Santa Monica–Marina Del Rey–Pacific Palisades–Brentwood–Bel Aire–Beverly Hills–Westwood–Century City–West Hollywood–northern Hollywood–Los Feliz–Silverlake–Eagle Rock and surrounding areas–as well as southern portions of the San Fernando Valley from Studio City to Woodland Hills.

This expansion of Horizon is being made possible by the generous support and encouragement of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation San Fernando Valley "Rosdom" gomideh.

Horizon is currently being broadcast in Glendale (from 8 to 8:30 p.m.); Hollywood (9:30 to 10 p.m.);Van Nuys-North Hollywood (9:30 to 10 p.m.); Pasadena-Montebello (9:30 to 10 p.m.); and southern San Fernando Valley (9:30 to 10 p.m.).

A special one-hour weekly edition of Horizon is being aired in Fresno–San Francisco–San Mateo and La Verne. Furthermore–in the Glendale-Burbank area Horizon airs a special live call-in program three times a week with direct viewer participation.

Horizon was not able to broadcast its newsmagazine on Century Cable–due to the heavy demand on the cable provider. Although the current 6 to 6:30 p.m. time slot is somewhat early–but–nonetheless–it was the only slot available.

In this regard–for the aforementioned reasons–Horizon will air on Century Cable with a one-day delay–until a more opportune time slot is garnered.
