NDU Returns to Ararat to Continue Public Rally

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The National-Democratic Union returned to Ararat on Tuesday to continue the public rally which was once interrupted because of a brawl.

Addressing the public–presidential candidate Vazgen Manoukian said that the incident will not affect "NDU’s attitude toward our brethren here in Ararat." Manoukian stressed the importance of holding a free and fair election. He urged voters not to succumb to pressure when making their choice. Manoukian said that his party would make every effort to hold a free and fair election.

He also noted that one party–or one person–cannot lead the country out of crisis. "Combined efforts are needed to solve the problems we are facing," Manoukian said.

The rally was attended by NDU members Arshak Sadoyan–David Vardanian and presidential candidate David Shahnazarian.
