Prelate Mardirossian to Partake in Pilgrimage

Bishop Moushegh Mardirossian–Western Prelate of the Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America–left for the Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia in Antelias–on March 22–to participate in this year’s pilgrimage dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity as Armenia’s state religion.

On Sunday–Prelate Mardirossian will attend the special services led by His Holiness Aram I–Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia–as well as the grand opening of the Cilicia Museum. Lebanese President Elias Herawi will also be in attendance at the museum opening.

Funding for the museum was made available by Western US Prelacy parishioners Mr. and Mrs. Krikor and Silva Bezdigian–who will also be in Antelias for the special ceremonies.

Bishop Mardirossian will return to Southern California on April 2.
