Literary Corner held a presentation of Yeghitzi and At Dawn–two short French films with English subtitles by Seroj Melik Hovsepian Friday–April 10–at 7 p.m. at the Glendale Public Library–attracting more than 125 guests.

Prior to the screening of the films–Meline Papazian–speaking on behalf of Literary Corner–presented the director who was born in Iran and graduated from the London Film School in 1975. Hovsepian has been living in Paris since 1983 where he has participated in a variety of theatrical productions.

At Dawn–made in 1994–had been fully funded by France’s National Film Center (Centre National de Cinematographie de France).

Hovsepian reported that he has begun working on his third film "Why Are Men in Awe Women?"

A reception followed the program.
