Nune and Band Arrive in Los Angeles

GLENDALE–Popular Armenian singer Nune Yessayan and her band arrived in Los Angeles Tuesday for a series of concert performances in California–the first of which is scheduled to take place Sunday–May 17 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

One of her first stops was the Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian school–where she met with excited students and performed several selections from her repertoire at the school’s auditorium.

Nune said that the collection she will perform at her concerts were "the Armenian people’s story–of sorts–their ups and downs through history."

The popular singer is also scheduled to perform at the Gift Center in San Francisco on May 31.

This concert is sponsored by Levon Travel–Virgin Records–KLM airlines–Armenian Airlines and Horizon Television.
