First Russia Armenia Interparliamentary Meeting to Begin

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A parliamentary delegation from Russia will be in Armenia from Thursday through Saturday to attend meetings of the bilateral interparliamentary commission of the Federal Assembly of Russia and the National Assembly of Armenia. This will be the first meeting after the signing of an interparliamentary cooperation agreement by the two countries.

The delegation of the Federal Assembly of Russia is expected to include representatives of the Committee on CIS Affairs–the Committee on Security and Defense–and the Agrarian Policy Committee.

The State Duma delegation will include members of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia–the "Russian Regions,"Yabloko," and "Narodovlastiye" parties–as well as members of the Communist Party of Russia.
