ARS Representatives Discuss Diasporan Aid

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The phase of humanitarian assistance from the Diaspora to Armenia has neared an end and the phase of realization of development programs is set to begin–regional chairperson of the Armenian Relief Cross Alvard Petrossian said at a Friday news conference.

Armenian Relief Society Central Executive member Seda Khrshian pointed to the importance of the symposium on "Armenian-Diasporan Relations on the Threshold of the 21st Century" recently held in Armenia–during which proposals concerning the development of scientific–cultural–economic and political relations between the Diaspora and Armenia were developed. She also said that the materials of the conference would soon be published and sent to all interested ministries–political–religious and benevolent circles of Armenia.
