Yesayan Meets with OSCE Rep.

YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The speaker of the National Assembly of Karabakh–Oleg Yesayan–met with the field aide to the OSCE Acting Chairman’s personal representative–Vasil Ivashko–upon the request of the latter. Ivashko–who has been working in the region for three months–was interested to learn the opinion of the speaker on the processes in Karabakh’s domestic life–the legislative activities of the National Assembly–as well as steps being taken to settle the Karabakh conflict.

Yesayan spoke about the National Assembly’s work–presenting the recently adopted package of laws ensuring economic reforms in the country.

Attending the meeting were Karabakh’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vasiliy Atajanian–the vice-chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations–Interparliamentary Relations and Information–Gagik Grigorian.
